Global superstar  has returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for an appearance scheduled on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Following his record-breaking debut in 2024, this comeback coincides with his 'Aura World Tour', which promises to be another jam-packed performance and marks a major milestone for Punjabi music worldwide. The show host shared a video featuring himself and Diljit doing Bhangra together, which quickly went viral on social media. The Tonight Show shared a video on their Instagram announcing that Diljit Dosanjh has returned with his swag. The singer-actor can be seen dancing on his song, while teaching Bhangra to Jimmy Fallon, the show host. The duo can be seen sharing a laugh together and pointing to the camera to inform fans to stay tuned.

 

Diljit Dosanjh will be having a conversation with Jimmy on his show and also perform on 11:35/10:35c (9:15 AM IST), April 28. The performance along with the interview will be poster on the show's YouTube channel after it streamed.

Diljit Dosanjh once again has made history by becoming the first Indian artist to completely sell out a show at Vancouver’s BC Place stadium. The singer recently returned to the iconic venue as part of his latest tour promoting his chart-topping album  . This milestone comes almost two years after the stadium hosted one of the largest Punjabi music festivals outside India.

Aura also marked a major milestone for Diljit, as it became his fourth entry on the Canadian Albums chart. With this achievement, he became the first Punjabi artist to have four albums appear on the Canadian charts, strengthening his global presence and growing influence in international music markets.

 

Meanwhile, speaking about his acting career, Dosanjh was recently seen in Border 2, where he played real-life hero Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, the only Indian Air Force (IAF) officer to be honored with the Param Vir Chakra. The film also starred Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty.

He is now gearing up for the release of romantic drama Main Vaapas Aaunga directed by Imtiaz Ali. Also starring Sharvari, Vedant Raina, and Naseeruddin Shah, the film will hit cinemas on June 12, 2026. The film explores a love story set against the backdrop of the Partition.
