Even Bhuvaneshwar could not survive

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who has been bowling excellently so far in IPL 2026, also failed to stop the runs. Bhuvneshwar, who was jointly on top in the Purple Cap race, spent 51 runs in his 4 over spell. With this, an unwanted record has been added to his name. He has jointly reached the top in terms of scoring the maximum 50 plus runs in IPL. Bhuvneshwar gave more than 50 runs for the 9th time in IPL. Mohammed Shami has also scored 50 plus runs 9 times.

Hazlewood remains expensive again

Apart from Bhuvneshwar, Josh Hazlewood and Rasikh Salam Dar also gave away more than 50 runs in their quota of 4 overs. Hazlewood spent 55 runs while Rasikh took 2 wickets for 52 runs. Romario Shepherd and Suyyash Sharma gave 37 and 36 runs respectively in 3 overs each. Krunal Pandya bowled only 2 overs, in which he took the wicket of Klaasen for 24 runs. The economy of all the RCB bowlers was above 12, which has increased the tension of the team before the playoffs.
