Name of junior and senior clerk changed, now they will be called ‘Assistant’

The government has made the names of the posts of secretariat clerks more respectable. Now the junior clerk working in the Secretariat will be known as “Secretariat Assistant”. At the same time, the senior clerk will now get the new identity of “Senior Secretariat Assistant”. With this decision, the social and professional respect of the employees will increase significantly.

Promotion quota increased from 15% to 25%, bumper benefits for lower employees

The government has also made major changes in the promotion rules to accelerate the career of lower level employees. The Cabinet has approved to increase the promotion quota of Office Attendants (Class IV employees). Earlier, the promotion quota for office attendants was fixed at only 15 percent, now it has been directly increased to 25 percent. With this decision, employees working at lower levels will get excellent opportunities to move ahead and reach higher posts.

Probation period halved, now job will be confirmed in just 1 year

The government has also given a huge relief to the newly recruited employees. The Cabinet has taken a big decision to halve the probation period of employees. Now the new employees of the Secretariat will not have to remain on probation for 2 years, rather this period has been reduced to only 1 year. This means that the jobs of the new employees will now become completely permanent in just one year, which will bring stability in their service life.
