Let us tell you, last year this former fast bowler had made such comments against KCA on social media due to which he was banned. Regarding Sreesanth’s comment, Kerala Cricket Association had said that it had defamed him.
In fact, last year, Kerala Cricket Association had banned Sreesanth for 3 years for his comments made first through video and then through social media. The former fast bowler had made serious allegations against the association. After this, KCA had said that the comments made by the bowler had brought him into disrepute.
News agency PTI in one of its reports has given information about the lifting of the ban on Sreesanth. According to Kerala Cricket Association, Sreesanth had earlier challenged the ban in the Munsiff Court of Thiruvananthapuram, but his petition was rejected. After this, the former fast bowler has expressed regret over his comments against KCA and apologized without any conditions. On the basis of which a decision has been taken to lift the ban from him.
Let us tell you, S Sreesanth had accused KCA after the non-selection of Indian wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson. He had accused the association that Sanju Samson was deliberately not included in the Kerala team for the Vijay Hazare Trophy and that is why he could not be selected for the Champion Trophy 2025. However, now Sreesanth has apologized for his statement.
