Krafton India has announced BGMI Gully Wars , a new open-for-all Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament with a prize pool of Rs 10 lakh. Registrations are live now and will close on October 6. There is no entry barrier for prior competitive experience, so any squad can sign up.




The idea is to find players who are good but largely unknown. Many BGMI players are known only within their own squads, college groups or local Discord servers, and rarely get a proper shot at organised play. Gully Wars, which runs on the tagline "Apna Naam Bana", is pitched as that first step. The tournament is being organised in partnership with JioBLAST .



BGMI Gully Wars qualifiers begin October 14, with 16 teams set to reach the finals




The competition opens with an In-Game Qualifier running from October 14 to 20. Teams that make it through will move into a series of elimination rounds, which cut the field down to the final 16 teams for the Grand Finals. Dates for the later stages and the prize split have not been detailed yet.




Karan Pathak, Associate Director - Esports, Krafton India, said the tournament is aimed at the next generation of competitive players. "We look forward to seeing players from across the country step up, make their mark and, most importantly, make their name," he said.




To register, players need to visit kraftonindiaesports.com and click the BGMI Gully Wars banner, or head to the Tournaments section and select "Register Now". First-time users will have to create an account, while existing users can log in with their credentials or through OTP verification. Tournament updates and announcements will be shared on the Krafton India Esports and JioBLAST Instagram handles.




For squads that have so far only tested themselves in custom rooms with friends, this is a straightforward way to see how they stack up nationally. The deadline to get in is October 6.
