Arnold Schwarzenegger helped raise €1.3 million for environmental and climate protection initiatives at a special dinner in Kitzbühel on 22 January 2026, according to the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative. More than 170 guests attended the event at the Stanglwirt, where an auction featured artworks, signed memorabilia, exclusive experiences and personal collectables, including a private workout with Schwarzenegger and one of his watches. The proceeds will support selected environmental projects worldwide. The fundraiser comes as Schwarzenegger’s Climate Initiative is involved in the Wild Solutions Park in Asparn an der Zaya, where wild horses and hardy cattle are being used to create habitats for endangered animal and plant species while supporting biodiversity , climate action and research.

The Special Dinner for Climate Action featured a range of items and experiences connected to Schwarzenegger and other public figures. Among the auction highlights were a private workout session with Schwarzenegger, VIP and meet-and-greet packages, and one of his watches, according to the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative.

The fundraising event comes as the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative is also involved in the Wild Solutions Park in Asparn an der Zaya, in the Leiser Berge Nature Park. According to the Wild Solutions Park, the project is developing a landscape focused on biodiversity, climate action and regional development.




The park uses wild horses and hardy cattle breeds to help create new habitats for endangered animal and plant species. The Wild Solutions Park said bison and water buffalo may also be introduced in the future. The project describes itself as an initiative where nature, agriculture and research work together, while also providing opportunities for schools, universities, businesses and visitors to learn about approaches to environmental management.

The Wild Solutions Park is a joint project involving the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative, the Austrian World Summit – Solutions Hub, the Regional Development Association (REV) – Leiser Berge Nature Park, MAMUZ Asparn and Green Bridge GmbH, according to the park's website.




The project began as a pilot initiative and is being developed as a place for conservation, learning, research and regional development. Its work includes the use of animals and living soils to create habitats and explore approaches to the sustainable use of the landscape. The park said its wider aim is to demonstrate how nature, agriculture and research can work together in addressing biodiversity and climate-related challenges.
