Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Sunday targeted the opponents of the Ram Mandir movement and alerted the Bajrang Dal workers. He said that Kalnemi will also enter Ramkaj. Babri devotees will try to insult and defame the movement by becoming Kalnemi. We have to identify them and not let their conspiracies succeed. CM Yogi said that those who once opposed Ram temple and used to open fire on Ram devotees, today they are trying to call themselves Ram devotees. This is the ideological victory of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. CM Yogi was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the birth centenary festival of revered Ashok Singhal, the founder of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement and former international president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad in Lucknow.

Documentary based on the role was shown

He inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. A documentary based on the life, struggle of Ashok Singhal and his role in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement was also shown at the ceremony. Chief Minister Yogi said that after the temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi was demolished in 1528, the Hindu society struggled for its liberation for about 500 years. Saints, Nagas, Sikh heroes, youth and women made sacrifices. There was strength in the society, but the power was scattered. Ashok Singhal did the work of bringing it on one platform. He said that after getting the responsibility of Vishwa Hindu Parishad in 1982 and formation of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya Samiti in 1983, Ramkaj became the aim of Ashok Singhal's life. Be it in the country or abroad, be it a forest area or a Dalit colony, the name of Ram was always on their lips. He brought Ram Kaju, Binu Mohi and Bishram into his life.

Chief Minister Yogi said that Ashok Singhal also launched a campaign to unite the society along with the Ram Mandir movement. He played an important role in setting up a series of single schools in forest dwellers and slums. Arrangements for the education of children of the North-East were also started from a room in the Vishwa Hindu Parishad office located at Gorakhnath Temple. Recalling the Ayodhya movement of 1990, he said that when the then Uttar Pradesh government was opening fire on Ram devotees, Ashok Singhal did not bow down before the power. On November 2, 1990, his lion roar was heard even amidst lathi charge and firing on Ram devotees. Today the embodiment of his dreams is visible in the form of a grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Team of experts is gathering evidence

Chief Minister Yogi alleged that when the case of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi reached the court, on one hand Ashok Singhal's team of advocates, archaeologists and subject experts were gathering evidence, on the other hand Congress, Samajwadi Party and Leftists were creating obstacles to prevent the decision in favor of Ram Temple. He also accused Congress of raising questions in the court regarding the existence of Lord Ram and Krishna.

He said that despite being invited to the foundation stone laying ceremony of Ram temple and the consecration of Ram Lalla, these people did not go because they were seeing a vote bank. The light lit by Ashok Singhal in the 1980s was not limited to Ram Janmabhoomi only, but was a campaign to revive the dignity of India's human points and eliminate the signs of slavery.

There should be no difference between words and behavior

Chief Minister Yogi recalled the meetings between his guru Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath and Ashok Singhal regarding the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement. He said that both of them used to discuss the construction of the temple, the strategy of the movement and the vision of future Ayodhya. Ashok Singhal is remembered because he did what he said. Speech becomes a mantra only when there is no difference between speech and conduct. Chief Minister Yogi said that Ayodhya, which was once neglected, today has Ram Path, Dharma Path, Bhakti Path and Janmabhoomi Path. There is uninterrupted and pure water of Saryu in Ram Ki Paadi. An international airport has been built in the name of Maharishi Valmiki and Ayodhya has become a solar city.
