Patna: Politics has intensified due to the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. RJD supremo Lalu Yadav's daughter Rohini Acharya has openly supported the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) movement. On Saturday, when CJP leaders Abhijit Deepke, Ashutosh Ranka, Saurabh Das and social media influencer Dhruv Rathi were detained, Rohini Acharya lashed out at the central government on social media platform X.

Modi-Shah accused of dictatorship

Rohini alleged that Dhruv Rathi and CJP leaders, who spoke the truth, have been arrested at the behest of Modi-Shah. Supporters are being stopped from coming to Delhi. This is proof of the dictatorship of the government. He wrote in rhyme, "Whenever you suppress the voice speaking the truth, you will find many Dhruv Rathis and Saurabhs in every corner of the country."

Rohini said that stopping people coming for peaceful protest at Delhi's borders and airport is a violation of Article 19 of the Constitution. Barricading and blockade at Jantar Mantar proves that the government is afraid of dissent. He demanded the immediate release of all the agitators.

Election Commission accused of becoming a puppet

Rohini Acharya said that the demonstration by CJP and the opposition in Delhi is a public outcry against vote theft. When the protector becomes the predator then it becomes necessary to take to the streets. He alleged that the Election Commission has not been impartial and is working at the behest of BJP. Names missing from the voter list, irregularities in the SIR process and questions being raised on CEC are attacks on democracy. Rohini said that on one hand there is evidence of collusion between the government and the commission, on the other hand the voice is being suppressed by the police. This is theft and embezzlement.
