GURGAON: Continuous rainfall in Gurgaon led to a large tree being uprooted in a residential area of Sector 46, damaging three electricity poles and disrupting power lines. Electricity supply in the locality has remained affected since 9 pm on Thursday.
According to news agency ANI, the incident triggered a power outage, leaving several households without electricity overnight.
The tree was uprooted amid continuous rainfall in the region, which has experienced spells of rain and thunderstorms over the past 24 hours.
